Number sense, operations, measurement, and problem solving, built step by careful step.

People, places, and providence, from our own community outward to the wider world.

God's creation observed closely — living things, weather, matter, motion, and the earth.

A full year on algebra alone — variables, equations, functions, lines, systems, and quadratics, one careful step at a time.

Cells, genetics, classification, ecology, and the human body, studied closely and taught from a young-earth creation view.

Clouds, fronts, storms, and forecasts — the science of the sky, and how to read it from your own back door.

Line, color, shape, and craft — hands-on projects with ordinary household supplies.

Hymns, rhythm, melody, and listening — singing and simple music reading.

Movement, coordination, and healthy habits, most of it needing nothing but open space.

Keyboarding, safe and wise technology use, and practical everyday computer literacy.

Beginning Spanish vocabulary, greetings, numbers, and simple conversation.

Open-pollinated seed, living soil, and a garden planned around your own frost dates and hardiness zone.

Chickens, goats, rabbits, and sheep — housing, feeding, health, and the honest daily work of keeping livestock well.

A first hive from the ground up — bee biology, seasonal inspections, mites and pests, and the honey harvest at the end.

Canning, drying, fermenting, and cold storage, taught to tested USDA safety standards — nothing in it is guessed at.

Trees, wildlife, soil, water, and fire — how to read a piece of woodland and leave it better than you found it.

Cooking, budgeting, sewing, laundry, hospitality, and child care — the ordinary skills that keep a household running.

How a house works, what it needs each season, what you can safely fix yourself, and when to call somebody.

Hand tools, power tools, joinery, and finishing — projects that end with something useful set on the table.

Why Christians believe what they believe, and how to give an answer with meekness and fear rather than a raised voice.

The church's story from Pentecost to today, martyrs and reformers included, with a full unit on the Anabaptists.

How American government actually works, and where the Christian's obedience to it begins and where it ends.

Budgeting, saving, debt, banking, insurance, taxes, and giving — money handled as a steward rather than an owner.

Clear thinking, honest persuasion, and the steadiness to stand up in front of people and say it well.
